Scope
This page is the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for every Crazy Bee Labs application: Shotbox, Macnap Blocker, Energy Manager, FastRename, SpaceOnMyDisk, Sunshine, Never Miss a Meeting, TopDeck, SpacesPilot, CornerCraft, Deskmate and 1space1wallpaper (macOS), and QualiScan, Period tracker made easy, MenuIsland, DualCam OxO, Quit smoking made easy, Pillo tracker and Video One Sec (iPhone). One page covers the whole family so it stays accurate as new apps ship. The data controller is Crazy Bee Labs, reachable at data@crazybeelabs.com.
Privacy-first by design
Our apps are built to do their real work — scanning, renaming, tracking, reminding, capturing — entirely on your device. The content you create or process inside an app (your screenshots, files, health data, photos, scans, calendar view, wallpapers) is not uploaded to our servers, and we do not read it, sell it, or use it for advertising.
Account and licensing data
If an app requires a license (our macOS apps), it shares an account with crazybeelabs.com: your email, a hashed password, and optionally a first name, last name and date of birth, plus your license and trial status. This account data is used only to run your trial, validate your license, and provide support — never for tracking or profiling. iPhone apps distributed on the App Store do not require a Crazy Bee Labs account.
App-specific data handling
A few apps talk to something beyond your device, always for a feature you explicitly use: Never Miss a Meeting reads your Google Calendar with read-only access to schedule its reminders; Cycles syncs through your own private iCloud account, never through our servers; Sunshine requests current weather from Open-Meteo using your coordinates, with no account or personal data attached; Deskmate's chat runs entirely on-device via Apple Intelligence, with no server involved at all. Our macOS apps also check for updates (via Sparkle) and validate your license, both of which contact our servers with minimal technical data (app version, license key) — never your files or content.
Permissions
Apps only request the system permissions they need to function — for example camera and photo library access (DualCam OxO, QualiScan), calendar access (Never Miss a Meeting), microphone and speech recognition (Deskmate), or accessibility access to move windows (SpacesPilot). You can review and revoke any permission at any time in System Settings or the Settings app.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account, license history and any data we hold about you at any time — from your account page at crazybeelabs.com/account (Danger zone → Delete my account), or by emailing data@crazybeelabs.com. Deletion is permanent and removes your downloads, licenses, subscriptions and invoices from our systems. Content that lives only on your device (like your local files, health data, or photos) is yours to delete directly from the app or your device at any time.
Data retention
We keep account and license data for as long as your account is active. Support messages are kept long enough to handle follow-up. Purchase records are kept as required by tax law. Once you delete your account, the data above is removed except where we are legally required to retain it (such as invoicing records).
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email data@crazybeelabs.com for any request; we may need to verify your identity first. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact data@crazybeelabs.com and we will delete it.
License and acceptable use
Where an app requires a paid license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it under your chosen plan. You may not resell, redistribute or share your license, or attempt to circumvent trial or licensing limits. Free trials run for 7 days from installation. iPhone apps are additionally governed by Apple's App Store terms.
Disclaimer and liability
Our apps are provided "as is", to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from their use, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant license in the past twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
