Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Crazy Bee Labs website, apps, and licenses. By downloading our software, creating an account, or purchasing a license, you agree to these terms. License grant and restrictions
When you purchase a valid license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the applicable app for your own use, subject to your plan. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or share your license or account. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent licensing or trial limitations, except where such restriction is prohibited by law. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted to you.
Free trial
Our macOS apps are free to try for 7 days. The trial lets you evaluate the app before deciding to buy. When the trial ends, continued use requires a paid license. We may adjust trial availability or duration for future downloads, but this will not change a license you have already purchased. iPhone apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms in addition to these.
Accounts
To manage downloads and licenses you create an account with your email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us at support@crazybeelabs.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Payments via Paddle
Purchases are sold and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and reseller. Paddle is the seller of record, handles billing, and collects any applicable VAT or sales taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, or annual) renew automatically until cancelled, and the lifetime plan is a one-time purchase. Prices and available plans may change, but changes will not affect a purchase already completed.
Acceptable use
You agree to use our software and website lawfully and not to misuse them. You must not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems, use the software to infringe others' rights, or use it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.
Disclaimers and warranty
Our software is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what applicable law requires. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that mandatory consumer protection law gives you, including any statutory warranties that cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crazy Bee Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant license in the twelve months before the claim. This limitation does not affect liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as for death, personal injury, or gross negligence.
Termination
You may stop using the software at any time and cancel a subscription through the account or checkout channels provided. We may suspend or terminate your license or account if you materially breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the software ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive, such as license restrictions, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts, subject to those consumer rules. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is dated at the top of this page and applies to your continued use.
